Do you ever spot something in a department store and know immediately what brand it is? I have that often at TJ Maxx…I can tell what brand certain pieces are before even looking at the tag. Free People is a brand that I think is so distinct and I love the vibe it adds to any look. Do you ever find yourself drawn to certain items even though they are totally outside of your “norm” or typical choice in colors?
That’s this shirt! I saw it at Tj Maxx the minute I walked in and I knew it was Free People…I also don’t typically wear orange but I was in love with this color combo for fall / winter and knew it would look perfect with a fur vest and leopard shoes! Due to our extended fall the weather was still quite warm so I skipped the vest! Free People items have such a bohemian look which I love…and those girls who can pull off the entire bohemian look I so envy – it’s so fabulous!
WELL it’s 2016…how are you feeling about this? I know the longer I live the faster each year goes! Do you feel the same? Well I am sure your resolutions are made…maybe you’re crushing them, maybe your struggling to keep them up! Whatever you’re resolving to work on, or quit in the new year be kind to yourself and quick to forgive your mis-steps. Everyday is a new chance to change, start back over, or learn something new!
I have a list far to long of resolutions…so I figure if I compiled them all into a category of “being a better person” I would accomplish many of them! Work out more; Serve Others more; Spend more time in God’s word; Love unconditionally more; Be more Patient; Eat Better; Dress better (I kid, I kid) But in all seriousness…If I truly strive to be more like our Heavenly Father then I will be working towards being more patient, less judgemental, less selfish, kinder, more giving, more uplifting of others!
So let’s GO GET 2016!!!
I really, really cannot say thank you enough for taking the time out of your busy, busy schedules / days to read my blog, follow along, and encouraging me! This blog is my little corner of ME and as a Mom it’s so important to maintain a piece of yourself… it really does feed my heart and soul more than you know!
