As we close out another Christmas we get ready to prepare for the New Year! With that brings another “Holiday outfit”. Now you may not be going out New Year’s Eve but that doesn’t mean you can’t dress festive for the night in with friends or kids and significant other! If you have little ones it’s easy to plan an early bedtime (maybe skip naps) and then have a stay at home date night! Make some fun appetizers, bust out a game, or a great movie…drink up and enjoy each other’s company! Just a suggestion if you needed one 🙂
Depending on what your plans are there are many ways to dress festive for the evening! These pants I got from my husband for our Anniversary (well not exactly the pants, rather a gift certificate to my fav shop in town) The girls at Frances Jaye brought these to me to try and I won’t lie I died about how HIGH waisted these are…until, until I tried them on! Maybe it’s an age thing for me, but when something comes up this high on the waist and is fitted…well it hides all sorts of lumps / bumps / love handles! I am a sucker for velvet too. The color was what made me unsure as well…if they were black well I might have bought 2 pairs. But I was concerned about the color and what all I could wear them with. Then my gears started turing about how great navy and black are!
Well I think these pants are a great option for New Year’s Eve…worn either way I have shown here depending on a gal might be doing! Don’t underestimate a great “colored” pant for the perfect New Year’s Style!
p.s. The owner of Frances Jaye also owns these pants and she rocked them with clogs and a great grey sweater LOVED it!
