What is Nourish to Flourish you say? Well I am so excited to share all the details of this 14 day reset I just completed. Ladies, this is life changing, food changing, diet changing, and all the things you’ve been looking for when it comes to diet/food/emotions!
I’m going to first talk about me and my reasoning for joining this program. Maybe something will resonate with you, and maybe when I talk about the program that will resonate with you more…we all have different reasons and driving forces for why we diet, watch what we eat, work out like we do etc…
I have always been on the thin/petite side of weight. I am very grateful for good genes b/c ladies I haven’t had to do much else for it (I know, I know) please know I do not take it for granted. However, b/c I never truly struggled with my weight I also have very little knowledge about healthy eating, exercise, and all that encompasses those things. Well when I turned 40 (2 years ago) I noticed body parts moving (traveling south) and a lot of softening going on. I also noticed that my late night endulgence of popcorn and wine were helping me to pack on some unwanted lb’s. Suddenly my jeans were getting tighter and tighter…there was a lot more junk in the trunk (my 14 year old pointed that out).
If you have followed me you know that last year I did the Faster way to Fat loss which I loved and saw great results. Well I kept trying to start that back over and just found my motivation at an all time low. I needed something quick that would yield some results fast and ALSO help me to gain more long term lifestyle changes. A fellow blogger Kate @ Living Lark had mentioned Nourish to Flourish to me awhile back and I was intrigued. So after researching it and talking with Jill (via email) I decided this was just the program for me to jump start my “lifestyle change.”
Ladies I wasn’t looking for a quick fix…I have been in search of a program that would EMPOWER me to make long term changes to my food, cooking, and overall habits with food. Nourish to Flourish offers not only the recipes and help to make those meals, but they offer amazing emotional support. It comes from the 2 founders Jill and Angelle…as well as all the amazing ladies going through the reset with you. There are no two women created the same and their habits and emotions with food are not the same either. I am the kind of person if you give me the “rules / guidelines” I follow them pretty much 100% I don’t necessarily need the check in daily, share how its going, etc. part of the program…however if you’re the type who needs more community while doing something like this then you will get that. This program really meets the needs of each individual.

This program is something kind you can do for yourself. After my first 14 day reset these are the things I have learned or experienced:
- I eat far more out of emotions than I ever thought
- There are foods that make me tired, sluggish, and overall achy
- I lost 7 lbs in 14 days
- I’m crabby when I don’t get to eat when and what I want
- I miss caffeine / coffee SO much…
- I found new ways to cook and prepare foods I already love
- I had no idea about “good fats” and how important they are
- How I could feel full from breakfast to lunch with no need for a snack, IF I was eating the right combination at each meal
- My nightly cocktail was robbing me of energy and making me hungry, so I accompany my drink with snacks
- How much I want to continue cooking healthier for myself and my family, how much I enjoyed learning all the new things I did and how much I want to learn more
Ladies I want to empower you to not only consider signing up for the next Reset which starts February 4, registration ends Thursday, but to also consider what this could mean to your overall health, your family, and your overall opinion of yourself and your eating habits. We spend money on so many fad diets, books, and pills / supplements…why not spend your money on something that is effective and long term…and only 14 days long?!?! I promise the process is not easy but WORTH IT! I spent a lot of time assessing other areas of my life during this 14 days…every time I wanted food that wasn’t in accordance with Nourish’s schedule or foods to eat I re-directed my thoughts and energy to other areas in my life that have been neglected…I came out of this 14 days better in more areas then just weight, cooking and food prep…come, join me February 4!!
