Are you done shopping? wrapping? hiding? I just finished, phew!!! Not without the help of my little elf Olivia…Oh what would I do with out her! She is the absolute best! Having a child many years older then the rest does offer some great advantages like helping me wrap all the stocking stuffers (they are never ending) or hiding gifts like a pro, or just sitting up with me talking while I wrap presents for her and she doesn’t look!!
Well in the midst of this busy season are you planning your outfits? I know I am and they keep changing! I always think how I want to be dressed up and then decide last minute on Christmas day that I would prefer to wear something comfy and warm…well then again we have snow, not rain and 50 degree weather…but I am NOT complaining about the weather…I mean in the scheme of life are there not better things to complain about?!?!
This skirt is something else! It is pink, it is this cool scuba material, and it’s a full circle skirt style! I had this skirt in my hand many months ago in black…so typical of me and then I said nope I’m going for the pink skirt instead! I’m not sure if I have shared before how much I love pale pink and black together! So Parisian in my opinion…feminine and modern! Now I will say that I regret not grabbing the skirt in black too! It’s so comfy to wear and I feel the black skirt would have been very timeless! But nonetheless…I have the pink! I have worn this with a denim jacket as my top here and it looks super chic with a crisp white button down and chunky big necklace.!
Remember as your getting dressed for your Christmas parties that you don’t have to be in the festive green and red colors…a look like this would look equally chic! I also think if you could find a great fitted silver sequin tee style top…well that would just be BANANAS!!!
I hope you find rest as your we’re closing in on Christmas! Remember to enjoy this time…take a deep breath and remember it will all be over so quickly leaving us feeling a tad sad, yet excited about a new year to come!!
